EDIT: The following wall text I left, it's not a personal attack of any kind.

I highly encourage to change the tag to the open category one. I know that you left your reasons, but still... It's clear that you're not "new to art".

I don't really know if the "taking this as my first and last entry as a "beginner" " statement could justify your entry. In the official announcement post in Jazza's website (which, BTW, I'll link it at the end) you can find this paragraph:

"TO ENTER THE BEGINNER CATEGORY: TAG your artwork with the word ‘B-IsolationComp’
(Please remember the beginner category is for people you are very young, around 12/yo or younger, and for people who are extremely new to art)"

I don't really now which are your "exact" reasons on your decision, but i'll still say this:
If you think that you will be "destroyed" in the open category... Remember, an artwork with a good story/meaning is more impactful than one with a good technique. Yours has a great story behind (Even though if it's not explicitly told in the artwork), and I can tell with confidence that is far better than most of the entries in the open category.

If you still decide to keep your entry in the begginer category, that's fine. Just don't be angry or something like that if you get disqualified.

EDIT: I read further into the comments, and I want to make a response on this quote of yours: "[...] If the host, Jazza, thinks this art is the best, I should deserve the prize for the improvement I was able to achieve [...]"

Art competitions, and probably competitions in general, doesn't rate the ammount of effort you put into a thing, they rate the final result. It really doesn't matter if you achieved to make the artwork in 12 minutes, for example. If it emits more emotion or skill (depends on the theme of the competition) than the rest... That artwork must win.
It's like saying that I deserve the open category prize just because the amount of improvement I had in the past 6 months (which is true, I improved a lot) as a main reason for me to win, and as a seccondary the quality and emotion of my artwork.

I hope that I wasn't rude with my words; and if I was, I'm sorry, that wasn't my intentions. Hope you understand.

TheRightTree responds:

Thanks for the comment. So, I changed it. As the deadline came closer, I became more and more worried. I totally understand that it wasn't a personal attack, and I appreciate it.

Also, it may be my wording being weird, but what I meant by "If the host, Jazza, thinks this art is the best, I should deserve the prize for the improvement I was able to achieve" is that the category that art should enter (in this competition), shouldn't be defined by the art quality itself, but the artist themselves (aka beginner or experienced). I understood that the time spent means nothing if the final product is bad.

As far as I know, the challenge was to ilustrate how the clickbait would be/ would affect the world in the future, and not a "clickbait challenge". Anyways, I like your drawing!

Edit: Also, be sure to put the tag "FutureClickbait" or "B-FutureClickbait", or else, Jazza won't see your entry!
